Cops: Two drivers hurt in Jericho school bus collision
Two drivers were injured in the collision of a car and school bus Thursday afternoon in Jericho, authorities said.
The crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. on Jericho Turnpike near Merry Lane, Nassau police said.
A dispatcher for the Jericho Fire Department, which responded to the crash, said no children were on the bus and that the two drivers suffered minor injuries.
A police spokesman could not immediately provide further details on the crash. Police had initially said there were several injuries.
