Police are seeking two men who robbed a video game store in Hempstead on Monday.

Nassau County police said the robbery occurred at a Game Stop store on Fulton Avenue at about 7:45 p.m.

The two suspects entered the store and one approached a 25-year-old male employee, while the other approached an 18-year-old female employee, police said. The two then demanded money, police said.

One of the robbers had a handgun, police said. Police said both wore scarves, covering their faces.

After stealing cash, police said the two suspects fled on foot. There were no customers in the store when it was robbed. Police said there were no reported injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
