Cops: Two sought in Valley Stream robbery

Fifth Squad detectives are searching for an armed man and his accomplice who robbed two teens in Valley Stream Sunday, according to Nassau County police.

At about 5:20 p.m., two youths, ages 16 and 17, were walking near the corner of Hoffman and Waldinger streets, when a beige or silver Toyota Sienna pulled up beside them, police said.

A man jumped from the vehicle and pulled a small, black rusted revolver, police said, demanding money from the two teens.

The teens gave the man an Apple iPod and a BlackBerry cell phone.

The driver, who did not leave the car, then waited for his accomplice and the two drove off, eastbound on Hoffman Street, police said.

No injuries were reported.
