Two women have been arrested and charged with burglarizing Farmingdale High School -- with one of the women breaking into the school twice, Nassau County police said Monday.

Stephanie Bristol, 21, of 210 Willard Ave., Farmingdale, and Stephanie McGuire, 21, of 215 North Wyoming Ave., Massapequa, entered the Lincoln Street school through an open door on Oct. 8, stealing a Kindle tablet and digital electronic scales from "multiple classrooms," police said. The burglary occurred just after 4:45 p.m.

Police said the two women then sold the stolen items to a pawnshop later that day.

An investigation determined that Bristol had also burglarized the school on Sept. 25, police said, stealing five calculators -- which also were recovered from the pawnshop.

Police said Bristol was arrested on Oct. 11 and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and five counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. She was arraigned on Oct. 12 and ordered held on $2,500 bond or bail, according to online court records.

McGuire surrendered to Second Squad detectives on Sunday and was charged with one count of third-degree burglary and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. She faces arraignment Monday in First District Court in Hempstead.
