Suffolk County officials are investigating a suspicious fire at a vacant Copiague home.

At about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, the Copiague Fire Department responded to a call that a house on Parkside Court was burning. It took firefighters about an hour to contain the blaze.

A spokesman for the Suffolk County police said the fire is now under investigation and "appears to be criminal in nature." Officials had no further details.

No one was injured, police said.
