Nassau County police are seeking the public's help in finding a man caught on camera allegedly burglarizing a home on Ballard Avenue in Valley Stream a couple of weeks ago.
The owner of the home told police he left his residence about 5 a.m. on Dec. 30 and found it ransacked and with personal items missing when he returned about 8 p.m.
A camera inside the home recorded a picture of the man, which shows him to be thin, with straight brown hair, a mustache and a scruffy beard, police said. He was wearing white jacket and shirt, police said.
Anyone with information about the burglary was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS (8477).
