A Levittown woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with robbing a man at an ATM at knifepoint in April, Nassau police said.

Lauren Seewagen, 22, of 29 Abbey La., was arrested at her home and charged with first-degree robbery, and with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

A 55-year-old man was inside the Citibank, 3375 Hempstead Tpke., about 7 p.m. April 21, police said, when a woman approached him and threatened to stab him with a knife if he did not hand over his cash, police said.

The man complied, police said, but when she demanded that he remove more money, he was able to grab the arm that held the knife and throw her to the ground.

She then ran off with the cash, police said. The man was not injured.

Seewagen was to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
