A Queens woman was arrested Tuesday and charged in connection with a seven-year-long scam in which she stole more than $900,000 from the Garden City Park realty company where she worked as a manager and bookkeeper, police said.

April P. Kossoy, of 69-10 108th St., Forest Hills, was charged with four counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, first-degree falsify business records, first-degree defraud and second-degree grand larceny.

She was scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Nassau County police said that Crimes Against Property Squad detectives found that between April 2003 and March, Kossoy stole "in excess of $900,000" while working as an office manager and bookkeeper for Bist Realty Company.

Police said Kossoy deposited "hundreds of company checks" into her own personal account during the seven-year period.

It was not clear how the scheme was uncovered.
