A North Valley Stream woman returning home Friday morning found a gunman in her kitchen and ran to a neighbor's house, Nassau police said.

After the woman opened the side door of her Law Street home about 11:30 a.m., the gunman pointed his weapon at her, demanding she move further into the house, police said.

Instead, she ran to a neighbor's house, police said, and as she looked back, she saw the gunman had two other accomplices leaving her home, all heading north on Law Street.

The victim saw a gray or green minivan drive up to the three suspects, who got in the vehicle, which continued northbound on Law Street, police said.

No one was injured and losses from the home were not yet determined, police said late Friday afternoon.

There are no detailed descriptions on the suspects, who were wearing dark clothing, police said.

Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
