Nassau County police are searching for a suspect who robbed a 54-year-old Hicksville woman at gunpoint in her driveway on Friday night.

The suspect, armed with a black handgun and wearing a dark-colored ski mask, approached the woman at 10:25 p.m. and demanded cash, police said.

The victim threw a shopping bag containing a pair of boots at the suspect, who then fled the area with the bag, heading northbound on Bamboo Lane, police said. The woman was not injured.

Police described the suspect as between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and with a slim build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark fleece jacket.
