Two men pushed a woman to the ground and stole her pocketbook after she got off the Long Island Rail Road at the Valley Stream station during Thursday night's blizzard warning, Nassau County police said.

The 22-year-old woman was walking north on Hicks Street toward West Merrick Road about 10:30 p.m. when the two men attacked her from the rear and then ran north on Hicks Street, police said.

The victim was not injured, but could not provide a specific description of the two men, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS (8477).
