A woman was robbed outside a party in Uniondale late Saturday, police said.

The woman, 21, was outside the party on Lawrence Street around 11:10 p.m. A man described as being between 26 and 30 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 210 pounds, and wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, approached, then dragged the victim to the ground and pulled her purse away, police said.

Police said when the victim tried to get up, another woman, described as being between 18 and 22 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 130 pounds, with blond streaks in her hair, pushed her back down.

The two assailants, joined by a second male, fled north on Lawrence Street, police said. The victim suffered minor injuries to her knees and refused medical attention.

Police ask anyone with information to call 800-244-TIPS.
