Nassau police are investigating a robbery in Baldwin on Saturday.

According to police, a 43-year-old woman was in the parking lot of the Love Jones Cafe and Lounge at 1920 Grand Ave., when her husband engaged in a confrontation with a group of unidentified men. As she approached the group, one of the men pushed her to the ground and grabbed her pocketbook from her hand, police said.

Police said the man walked away, removed her wallet containing personal papers and an unknown amount of cash, and threw her pocketbook back at the woman before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
