Cops: Woodmere home was burglarized

Nassau police are investigating a burglary in Woodmere that happened Friday night or early Saturday morning.

Police said the homeowners returned to their home around 11 a.m. on Saturday and saw that the front door to their Michelle Place residence was open. A safe and an unknown amount of jewelry and bonds had been taken from a bedroom.
