A Woodmere man was arrested Thursday on drug charges after selling marijuana to teenagers in front of his residence, detectives from Nassau County's narcotics/vice squad said.

Detectives were investigating a narcotics complaint between 7:45 p.m. and 9:40 p.m., according to a police report, when they said they saw Anwar Deen, 23, of 876 Knota Rd., sell marijuana twice to several 17-year-old males in front of his home.

Deen was arrested and found him to have a small bag of marijuana, police said. Police also said they found two large bags of marijuana in Deen's home.

Deen is charged with two counts of criminal sale of marijuana and will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
