Crash closes Hempstead Turnpike in Farmingdale
Both directions of the Hempstead Turnpike remain closed in Farmingdale after an accident involving a motorcyclist on Friday night, April 25, 2014, Nassau police said. Both directions of the Hempstead Turnpike are closed in Farmingdale after an accident involving a motorcyclist, Nassau police said.
The crash happened at 8:54 p.m. at West Oak Street and involved a car and a motorcycle, police said. The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
