Crash closes roads in Massapequa

Nassau police have announced the closure of roads in Massapequa because of a car accident that resulted in vehicle fluids leaking over the roadway, authorities said.

Police sent out a news alert at 6:40 p.m. detailing the closure of Unqua Road southbound at Merrick Road, and Merrick Road westbound at Unqua Road due to the accident. The accident occurred at 6:11 p.m., a police spokeswoman said. They had no further details.
