Crash closes southbound Rte. 135 in Plainview

As of just past 4:30 p.m. Wednesday all southbound lanes at Exit 11 of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway in Plainview remained closed as police investigated the midday collision of a tractor trailer and a vehicle, Nassau County police said.
The Nassau police sent out a media alert on the lane closures at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday. Police could not say if there were any injuries.
The accident took place at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, but no further details were available, police said.
