Nassau County police have identified the two women killed in a car crash in Hicksville Friday night as Alexa Duryea, 19, and Lindsey Parke, 19, both of Levittown.
The two women were passengers in a 2026 BMW being driven by a 23-year-old man westbound on Old Country Road around 11:30 p.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed into oncoming traffic and then crashed into a tree and building, police said in a news release.
Duryea and Parke were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The driver, who police have not identified, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, a police spokesperson said.
