Two people have been injured in a one-car crash that briefly shut down the northbound Wantagh State Parkway in Levittown during Monday evening's rush hour, state police said.

The accident happened about 6:15 p.m., just north of the Southern State Parkway, police said, but all lanes were open well before 9 p.m.

The driver of a Honda Civic may have been going too fast and the car rolled over in the crash, police said.

The vehicle's two occupants were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

Further details were not immediately available, State Police said.
