Passenger seriously injured in one-car crash on Wantagh Parkway, cops say
The passenger in a one-car crash was seriously injured when the driver lost control on the Wantagh Parkway on Saturday morning, State Police said.
The Honda Accord, headed south at exit W5, left the pavement and struck a fence and a tree at about 7:53 a.m., according to their statement. That is the exit for the Sunrise Highway.
