She robbed a bank customer at knifepoint last month in Levittown, fleeing with $200, Nassau County police said.
Now police are asking for your help in finding the young woman who they said committed the crime -- only to be caught on surveillance video.
The robbery occurred just before 7 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at the Citibank branch on Hempstead Turnpike. Police said the woman, described as being about 5-foot-2, 120 to 125 pounds and wearing a black hooded jacket, approached a customer at the ATM, flashed a knife and demanded his cash.
After a struggle, police said the woman, believed to be in her teens or early 20s, fled the scene with $200 in cash.
Police ask anyone with information about the robbery -- or the suspect -- to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
