A Roslyn Heights man has been charged in a bank robbery that took place there on Tuesday, Nassau County police said.

Darren Lindo, 31, is charged with third-degree robbery after police said he entered the First National Bank of Long Island branch office at 130 Mineola Ave. at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, approached a teller and demanded cash. Police said Lindo told the teller he had a gun, but none was seen.

He fled with an undetermined amount of money, police said. There were five employees and one customer in the bank at the time of the robbery, and no one was hurt.

Lindo, of 22 Edwards St., was arrested on Wednesday and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
