A 37-year-old man was arrested on Thursday at his home in Central Islip after police said he forcibly touched a woman while he was delivering furniture Tuesday in Baldwin.

Rafael Garcia, of 33 Plum St., was arrested on a charge of forcible touching and faces arraignment Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Nassau County police said Garcia is employed by Bob's Discount Furniture and said that, while delivering an order to a residence on Washington Street in Baldwin just after noon on Tuesday, he "put his hand on a female victim's lower back" and then slid his hand "down onto her buttocks." Police said that when the woman started to walk upstairs in the residence, Garcia "followed her and bent over to look up her dress."

Police ask anyone else who believes they may have been victimized by the suspect to call the First Squad detectives at 516-573-6156.
