Deliveryman robbed in N. Valley Stream
A gunman robbed a Chinese food deliveryman Thursday night in North Valley Stream, stealing cash, personal papers and credit cards, police said.
The incident occurred at 7:20 p.m. on Laurel Place. Nassau County police said the delivery man was approached by the gunman, who at first pretended to be a customer, but then ordered the deliveryman to hand over his cash. After the robbery, police said the gunman fled east on Steven Place.
No one was injured.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
