Deliveryman robbed in N. Valley Stream

A gunman robbed a Chinese food deliveryman Thursday night in North Valley Stream, stealing cash, personal papers and credit cards, police said.

The incident occurred at 7:20 p.m. on Laurel Place. Nassau County police said the delivery man was approached by the gunman, who at first pretended to be a customer, but then ordered the deliveryman to hand over his cash. After the robbery, police said the gunman fled east on Steven Place.

No one was injured.
