Detectives seek man in New Cassel beating
Third Squad detectives are looking for a suspect they allege knocked down another man, kicked him in the head and body, and then rummaged through his pockets Saturday night in New Cassel.
The altercation took place at 8:45 p.m. on Grayson Street.
The suspect is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a thin build and dark hair worn in a ponytail. He was wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants and was last seen running east on Oliver Street.
The victim, who has no known address, was taken by Nassau police ambulance to a l hospital and is being treated for a head injury, Nassau police said.
