DOT: Meadowbrook Parkway reopens in N. Merrick after accident

Southbound lanes of the Meadowbrook State Parkway were closed for about 90 minutes Wednesday morning because of an accident near the Southern State Parkway, Exit M6, officials said.

The accident, involving two vehicles, was reported at 6:32 a.m. on the state Department of Transportation website.

All lanes were reopened as of 8:09 a.m.
