A man driving in Uniondale early Wednesday was killed after he struck a vehicle parked on Oak Street, Nassau County police said.

The 19-year-old driver was heading north on Oak Street at 2 a.m. when he hit the other vehicle near the intersection with Commercial Avenue, police said.

A Nassau County Police Department medic pronounced him dead at the scene. Police did not immediately release the victim's identity.

The investigation is continuing, police said.
