An unidentified driver suffered minor injuries Sunday morning when the grocery store supply truck he was driving overturned in Freeport.

Police said the accident happened at 6:44 a.m. when the driver was traveling eastbound on Sunrise Highway and was making a right turn onto Main Street. He was taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside.

None of the groceries spilled and no road closures resulted from the accident, police said. The cause of the accident was under investigation.
