Nassau officials announce re-engagement of 'Operation Natalie'

Nassau County officials on Tuesday announced that “Operation Natalie,” an initiative to fight the opioid crisis, is back in full swing after COVID slowed things down. Natalie Ciappa died of a heroin overdose 13 years ago. Her father urged parents to “get invasive” to save their kids’ lives. Newsday’s Cecilia Dowd reports.
