A Roosevelt man faces drug and weapons possession charges after his arrest in Roosevelt Tuesday morning, Nassau County police said.

Detectives on patrol said Patrick J. Knight, 20, of 100 Willet Pl., was with another person on Horace Avenue at about 1:20 a.m. An investigation revealed that Knight had a .32-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver and a bag of what police believed to be marijuana, authorities said.

Knight was arrested and is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of marijuana, police said.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
