Nassau County's Marine Bureau and Aviation Unit helped rescue four duck hunters whose boat overturned early Thursday in waters near Oceanside.

Police said the four men were removed from the water by civilian vessels and taken to a nearby hospital where they were treated for hypothermia.

The four were hunting in marshes near Hampton Road before 7 a.m. when Fourth Precinct officers, the Marine Bureau and the Aviation Unit responded to an emergency call.

The weapons of the men -- ages 55, 21 and two at 28 -- were recovered and their boat was towed by the Marine Bureau, police said in a news release.
