A dump truck tipped over in Elmont on Friday after workers loading it with debris from Tuesday's house explosion filled the vehicle improperly, Nassau County police said.
The damage from the house explosion at 150 Lincoln St. was so extensive that what remains of the structure must be demolished.
The home was vacant at the time of the explosion, and authorities don't know what caused the explosion, which remains under investigation.
In Friday's 12:50 p.m. truck accident, the crew that was doing the demolition loaded the truck with the debris in such a way that it tipped over, police said.
No one was hurt.
