Dunkin' Donuts robbery suspect pics a 'scream'

Nassau County police are looking for a suspect who wore a replica mask from the "Scream" movies and brandished a handgun in an attempt to rob a Farmingdale doughnut shop, police said Thursday.

The suspect was foiled and left the building when an employee sprayed him with hot water Tuesday, police said.

The suspect entered the kitchen area of a Dunkin' Donuts at 575 Fulton St. through a rear door about 11:40 p.m., police said. Showing a dark silver handgun, the suspect demanded money before one employee sprayed him, police said, and the suspect left without getting any money.
