A Roslyn woman who rear-ended another vehicle on the Northern State Parkway in Old Bethpage Monday morning faces drunken driving charges, State Police said.

At about 10:47 a.m., a trooper was dispatched to a two-car accident on the eastbound parkway at Exit 38, Sunnyside Boulevard, according to a report.

An investigation revealed that a Honda Accord driven by Lisa Wade, 52, of 53 Acorn Ponds Dr., struck the other vehicle, police said. No injuries were reported.

The trooper detected a strong odor of alcohol on Wade, who failed sobriety tests and was arrested, police said.

Wade provided a breath-analyzer sample of .18 percent, police said. She is charged with driving while intoxicated and several traffic violations. Arraignment information was not immediately available.
