E. Meadow collision kills motorcyclist

A motorcyclist was fatally injured in East Meadow after a collision with a car on Newbridge Road, Nassau police said.
The motorcyclist was taken from the accident site near Lawn Drive shortly after 7:10 p.m. and pronounced dead at a local hospital, police said. The driver of the car was also taken to a hospital for observation, police said.
The names of the drivers were not immediately available from police.
