East Meadow man faces drug charges
An East Meadow man was arrested, charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, after a court-ordered search Tuesday of his house by police uncovered marijuana, cocaine and a stash of illegal narcotic pills.
James J. Capolino, 34, of 1897 Park Ave., was arrested after the seizures by Narcotics / Vice Squad detectives enforcing the court-ordered search warrant at 1:35 a.m., Nassau County police said.
Police said 7 ounces of marijuana, 99 Hydrocodone pills, 931/2 Alprazolam pills, 34 Acetaminophen pills with codeine, four additional Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone pills, five Suboxone Sublingual films and two bags containing in more than a half ounce of cocaine were recovered during the search. Also recovered was $339 in cash, police said.
Police said Capolino faces arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
