Nassau police arrested a Glen Head restaurant employee who they said affixed a cellphone to a sink in a women's bathroom to secretly record patrons Wednesday afternoon.

Edward Ramirez, 43, of Hazel Street in Glen Cove, was arrested and charged with second-degree attempted unlawful surveillance after, police said, a 27-year-old customer at Jack's Shack Organic Eatery on Glen Cove Avenue noticed a cellphone taped to the sink about 2 p.m.

The woman said she noticed the device was left on recording mode after she spotted Ramirez leaving the bathroom, police said.

She removed the phone and notified police, who arrested Ramirez without incident.
