An Elmont teenager was arrested and charged with robbing a 14-year-old boy of an iPhone Thursday, police said.

Police said Ted Paulicap, 17, of 132 Carnegie Ave., struggled with the victim, who was walking in near Village and Elmont avenues at 3:50 p.m., grabbed the phone and ran.

Paulicap was seen a short time later in Elmont Road Park, Nassau police said, and after a brief foot pursuit, was taken into custody.

He was to be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead Friday on a charge of third degree robbery.
