Police: Woman stole pills from neighbor's home

A Williston Park woman twice entered a house on her street and stole prescription pills from a medicine cabinet, Nassau County police said.
Erin Arcese, 38, of 33 Cushing Ave., was arrested Monday on two counts of second-degree burglary, police said.
She was given a conditional release at her arraignment Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead. Arcese is due back in court Thursday.
Third Squad detectives said Arcese entered a Cushing Avenue residence through an unlocked door and removed about 45 prescription pills from a cabinet twice between April 9 and May 12.
