Train service on the Ronkonkoma Branch was suspended between Hicksville and Ronkonkoma early Tuesday after a man was struck on the tracks west of Farmingdale, the Long Island Rail Road said.

Authorities took the man to Nassau University Medical Center after the 12:20 a.m. incident and had no update on his condition, a LIRR spokeswoman said. 

Service resumed by 1:30 a.m., she said.
