A Jericho man was found dead Saturday morning after his car crashed into the woods off Bethpage Parkway.

A bicyclist found the vehicle crashed in the woods near a traffic circle at 6:30 a.m., State Police said.

The 2017 Honda Accord was driven by Tal Itzhak Levy, 24, who was heading north on Bethpage Parkway. Police said he was speeding and was unable to navigate the traffic circle. There were no passengers in the vehicle, police said.

The car crossed an opposite paved part of the road and flew airborne and landed 110 feet off the highway into the woods and down a ravine, according to police.

Police said the car was not visible from the highway and Levy was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

A family member of Levy declined to comment.
