Suffolk County homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man in Brentwood.

A 911 caller alerted police to shots fired Friday night about 10:20 p.m. Third Precinct officers responded to 535 Grand Blvd. and found Juan Rosario in the driveway with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.

Rosario, of Hilltop Drive, Brentwood, was pronounced dead the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6394 or Crimestoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
