Man found fatally shot in Uniondale, Nassau police say

A man found lying in a Uniondale street Wednesday night was fatally shot, Nassau police said.
The man, who was not identified, was discovered at 8:50 p.m. at Alexander Avenue and Lee Road, police said. He was pronounced dead by a Nassau County police medic, police said.
"The investigation into this incident continues," a statement from police said.
