Firefighters from seven departments battled cold temperatures to extinguish a house fire in Uniondale Monday.

Fire officials said no one was reported injured in the blaze on Southern Parkway.

It was unclear if anyone was in the home when the fire began - though preliminary indications are that the fire is not being considered suspicious.

The fire was reported at 10:58 a.m., police said.

Firefighters from Uniondale, Roosevelt, West Hempstead, South Hempstead, Hempstead, Elmont and North Bellmore battled the fire, which engulfed the second floor of the home.

Additional details were not immediately available.
