Three residents were injured after fire destroyed their home in Manorhaven on Saturday night, Nassau County police said.

Police and firefighters arrived on the scene at Linwood Road North to find the house fully engulfed in flames shortly after 7:30 p.m., police said. About 120 firefighters from the Port Washington Fire Department and several others worked to extinguish the fire, police said.

The residence suffered “severe damage, including smoke, fire and water damage,” according to police.

The three residents were transported to a hospital for treatment for undisclosed injuries, police said.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office and police Arson Bomb Squad detectives were on scene to investigate, according to the news release.
