Firefighter, residents treated after fire at Levittown home

An overnight house fire in Levittown sent one firefighter and two occupants of the home to the hospital for smoke inhalation Monday, fire officials said.
The three were taken to Nassau University Medical Center and were treated and released, officials said Monday.
The fire occurred at 12:20 a.m. on Hyacinth Road.
Volunteers from Levittown, East Meadow, North Bellmore and Hicksville responded to the scene, more than 50 firefighters in all. The injured fireman was from Levittown, fire officials told Newsday.
Nassau County police said that the Nassau fire marshal's office and Arson/Bomb Squad detectives investigated the fire. Fire officials said the blaze was not considered suspicious.
