Nassau County police are looking for two men in the armed robbery of a restaurant late Friday in Merrick that left a worker injured.

At about 11:15 p.m., the suspects entered Five Guys at 2099 Merrick Rd. with handguns, police said. The men struck the 25-year-old employee in the head, then took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in an unknown direction, police said.

The employee was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. No customers were in the restaurant at the time.

Police said the men were wearing ski masks and all black clothing and displayed black revolvers. One was described as about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 200 pounds while the other was described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds.
