A 19-year-old from Floral Park was killed in a single-car crash Friday evening in Pennsylvania, the Lycoming County Coroner's Office confirmed.
Quinn Dowdell was driving south on Route 287 near Williamsport when his vehicle left the roadway, the coroner's office said. The car overturned and Dowdell, who was not wearing his seat belt, sustained "severe trauma" after being trapped in the wreckage, the coroner's report said.
Authorities said Dowdell was pronounced dead at 9:32 p.m.
Pennsylvania State Police could not immediately confirm details of the incident on Monday.
But an official statement from the coroner's office said Dowdell had been traveling from Ski Sawmill in Morris, Pennsylvania, when the crash occurred.
