Flu -- not CO -- sends 3 to hospital
Two children and an adult were transported to a local hospital early Thursday following a feared carbon-monoxide poisoning at a home in Roosevelt, Nassau County police said.
It turned out "the whole house had the flu," police spokeswoman Eloise Abdullah said.
The incident at the home on Clinton Avenue was reported at 7:21 a.m., police said.
